RV Cover

RV cover is the first and foremost RV accessory that you need to buy. It protects your RV from rain, sunshine, etc.

It is always better to cover your RV with RV cover when it is not in use in order to avoid rusting of RV parts due to rain.

In general, RV covers are made of polypropylene that provides all weather protection.

You can find several varieties of RV covers of different brands in market. Regardless of which company recreational vehicle you have, a RV cover is necessary to prolonging the life of your RV.

Snug Fitting RV Covers

You can find several good types of RV covers on the market. But, make sure that you get a RV cover, which is a snug fit and has many ties down points. With this type of cover, the wind will not catch it and cause worse damage as it beats your RV into oblivion.

Moreover, if the RV cover which you use is not a snug fitting RV cover, then the dust will get an underneath and the inside of the cover, which acts just like it is getting rubbed down with sandpaper.

Learn the Installation

Make sure that you learn how to use and adjust the cover. Proper installation over your recreational vehicle is necessary in order to ensure its protection and avoiding accidental damage.

There are even some covers, which are even quite functional when the camper is in use, which protects your camper even when you are out at the park. Make sure that you remove call covers before transporting the RV.

It is a good idea to purchase tyre guards and RV masks. Tire guards are just slip over the types in order to protect the rubber when parked. RV masks fit over the nose or front end of the vehicle, which acts as a shield against bug damage.

RV covers for Awnings and Air Conditioners

You can also get special covers for camper awnings and air conditioners. Make sure to protect your rooftop and vents, which also helps in improving the overall life of the recreational vehicle.

Make sure that you always keep a patch kit for your RV cover in case of tears or rips. An immediate fix is best than trying to buy a new one later. However, you need to do regular inspection of the cover in order to ensure the condition of the cover. It is best to replace the RV cover, when it has lost its reliability.
